Instruqt Raises a €15M Series From Blossom Capital
The Netherlands-based company Instruqt offers a platform that makes it easier for businesses to do software testing. It helps to create interactive training sessions, product demos, and seminars quickly and easily.
According to the company’s blog, it raised €15 million in a Series A round-headed solely by Blossom Capital.
Providing a working product demo allows clients to see its effectiveness without committing much time and resources or signing a contract. This is more effective than a merely theoretical demo which may not be practical in reality.
This new generation of genuine and immersive experiences assists software businesses in educating and selling to modern buyers.
Instruqt is used by companies such as Hashicorp, MongoDB, Red Hat, and Datadog to generate millions of dollars in revenue. Since 2018, Instruqt has hosted over 1.6 million training sessions and sales demos, engaging over a million learners.
Session
Session platform has received multiple awards for making customer-facing events, including webinars and seminars, effective and easier. The platform encourages collaboration throughout the organization.
Session was even recognized as Product of the Year in the “Work from anywhere” category by Product Hunt in 2022.

The company raised $4.5 million in seed funding in its most recent funding round. Session uses advanced technologies such as AI, creator tools, and automated planning to ease the stress associated with hosting webinars and other events.
It streamlines customer-facing meetings by providing teams with essential resources such as information creation of a host of presentations, demos, onboarding sessions, training exercises, and webinars, all under one roof.

Sprig
Sprig provides product insights via Surveys, Replays, Prototype Tests, and AI Analysis, enabling teams to optimize their products. Sprig integrates with other tools to foster collaboration.

Sprig assists product teams in troubleshooting problems, monitoring how consumers interact with features, and identifying chances for optimization in their products or websites.
Sprig’s AI Analysis can assist in the prioritization of new product features by converting open-text responses into actionable themes via dozens of interfaces with other productivity tools.
In its latest funding round, Sprig has secured $30 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, First Round Capital, Elad Gil, and Figma Ventures. This brings the total amount raised by the company to $90 million.
Discord Asks All of Its 150 Million Users to Change Their Usernames
All of Discord’s 150 million members are being asked to modify their usernames to remove the hashtag and four numbers at the end (the discriminator).
To be consistent with other social media platforms like Twitter, each new username will include a “@” sign. Users will be unable to keep their previous usernames.

According to the Discord blog, the firm is working to fix the issue of difficult usernames. According to co-founder Vishnevshiy, more than 40% of users need to remember or know what their discriminator is. Almost half of all Discord friend requests do not match the desired person.
