Microsoft to Replace Cortana With ChatGPT Copilot Across Windows PCs
Microsoft announced Windows Copilot, with AI assistance for higher productivity, may replace Cortana. Windows Copilot is more advanced than Cortana and can manage complex tasks on a Windows computer due to the capabilities of ChatGPT. Beginning this fall, Microsoft will discontinue support for the Cortana app.
Windows Copilot provides a persistent and personalized sidebar to help users perform tasks, customize settings, and connect across various applications and windows.
Windows Copilot can summarize, reword, and explain app content. Its interface looks like a Bing Chat dialog box, making responding to general questions and search queries easy.

Low-Code ML Platform Predibase Raises Another $12.2M
Predibase is the low-code AI platform to create a custom GPT. It helps automated model building for AI projects with multi-modal data support that can be delivered promptly using a declarative platform that efficiently composes complex code.
Users can use their data to make custom ML models or run queries on pre-existing LLMs like Vicuna, OpenLlama, or Dolly without extensive coding.
Predibase has recently raised $12.2 million in funding, led by Felicis. This funding is in addition to their initial $16.25 million Series A funding round from the previous year.
Over 250 models have been trained on Predibase during the Beta period. Low-code ML platforms are now available for developers, and users can now develop and use their own language models instead of relying on APIs from companies like OpenAI.
