Though it has a free plan of limited videos, every share needs mandatory attribution. Paid plans open you up to the entire library of 240p to 4K resolution videos for commercial and personal use without needing attribution.

Depositphotos plans are available as retainer packs, month-to-month, and pay based on the number of downloads.

With 74k artists and 37 million video clips, Pond5 (owned by Shutterstock) makes a case for itself when it comes to high-profile professional use.

The available resolutions range from SD to 5K+ and cover categories such as nature, business, technology, aerial, urban, VFX, food, lifestyle, sports, health, and more.

In addition, Pond5 has an exclusive range of videos not available anywhere else.

Stock videos at Pond5 come in two licenses: commercial and editorial. As the name suggests, “commercial” can be used for advertising, merchandise, and other profit-making projects, while “editorial” is best suited to the general public interest, including news articles, textbooks, etc.

Paid plans feature subscriptions and per-item payments.

iStock (by Getty Images) is another big name when it comes to stock media. Their video library consists of clips in HD to 4K to wow any audience.

Some of the themes they cover are timelapse, aerial, close-ups, backgrounds, lifestyle, nature, business, healthcare, etc. While there is plenty to take note of, iStock has a Signature category, which refers to content exclusive to their platform.

To make searching easy, you can upload a sample clip to find related suggestions. Another thing that makes iStock stand out is the boards. Here, you can save the videos for later use, just like we save videos for “Watch Later” on YouTube. One can create as many boards based on projects or anything else.

Besides, iStock also offers some free videos per month.

It has monthly subscriptions having a fixed number of credits for video downloads. The best part is these credits can be rolled over for up to 250 downloads.

Vecteezy is a budget option with a generous free plan and a powerful pro subscription.

Its strengths are an easy-to-navigate interface and pocket-friendly paid plans.

BBC Motion Gallery

Hosted by Getty Images, BBC Motion Gallery is a stock video library directly from its own broadcasts since 1922. As of this writing, this has 125k clips, including BBC coverage of nature, traveling, culture, science, history, etc.

There is no free plan, and the pricing is per item based on advertising, corporate, and media usage. The highest resolution I could find was full HD, and the maximum license duration was one year for the videos I checked.

On the price front, it felt slightly expensive compared to others, and I would only recommend it to die-hard BBC fans.

Video content is all over the internet, and every legendary marketer is forecasting the rising scope of a promotional video. If you want to increase your prospect’s engagement rate, then you can use these stock video providers to craft a stunning video for your products and services.
