Usha Romesh, the editor-in-chief of Geekflare since August 2021, has over a decade of experience in the technology domain, starting as a software engineer in the IT services industry.

A break in career following the birth of her son and travelling across Australia, US and UK for 4 years made her look for fully remote jobs. She made the switch to content management, SEO and digital marketing and has been in the field for over 10 years.

Usha’s passion lies in the fields of technology, education, marketing and personal finance. Having managed a work-from-home career long before the pandemic made it a new normal, she has encouraged and inspired more mothers to take up remote work. Usha was featured in the “Returnship Journey Success Stories” by Avtar women (now MyAvtar) in 2019.

Usha is a lifelong learner, always eager to explore new technologies. She is currently fascinated by the Generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

In her leisure time, Usha enjoys watching tennis and cricket, reading fiction books, and listening to music.
