Protecting your API keys is a priority, and they are handled to industry-standard practice at every stage.
- Secure transfer: keys travel from your browser to our servers over an encrypted TLS connection.
- Encryption at rest: before storage, each key is encrypted with AES-256-CBC.
- Strict access control: a key is decrypted only at the moment it is needed to make a request on your behalf. It never appears in logs and is not accessible to staff.
Yes. You can add or remove keys whenever you like from your account settings. Once a key is removed, Connect can no longer make requests to that provider on your behalf.
