Handled for you

Every link on the page, checked.

No crawler to write and no request queue to manage. Each request finds the links on a page, checks them all and returns the status of each one.

Every link on the page

Page links, stylesheets, feeds and icons are all found and checked in one request.

data[].link

Internal and external

Links to your own pages and to third-party sites are both checked, so outbound links that rot are caught too.

all domains

Status for each URL

Each link comes back with its HTTP status code, so you can filter for 404s, server errors or redirects in code.

data[].status

Redirects handled your way

Check the page as it is, or follow redirects first when the URL you pass forwards somewhere else.

followRedirect: true

Built for automation

Run it from a CI pipeline, a CMS publish hook or a nightly job to catch dead links as soon as they appear.

POST /brokenlink

From any country

Check the page through a proxy in another country when a site shows different content, and links, by region.

proxyCountry: de
Regional pages

Check the links each country sees.

Localized sites often link to different pages, stores and help centers by country. Add a country code and the check runs through a proxy there, so you test the links local visitors click.

  • proxyCountry checks through any of 194 countries
  • Catch dead links on localized pages and stores
  • Adds 4 credits only on requests that use a proxy

Ways in

One API. Every stack.

The same key works from an agent, a workflow builder, an SDK or your own service. Pick the lane you already live in.

MCP server

One remote endpoint exposes Geekflare's tools to any MCP client. Your agent discovers them itself: no glue code, no per-tool wiring.

LLM & agent pipelines

LLM-ready Markdown straight into a retrieval pipeline, with the boilerplate stripped so you spend context on content, not navigation.

Yes. Every link found on the page is checked, whether it points to your own domain or to a third-party site.

Checking a page costs 2 credits, however many links it has. Routing through a proxy with proxyCountry adds 4 credits. Failed requests cost nothing.

A link that returns an error, typically a 404 Not Found or a 5xx server error. Every link comes back with its status code, so you decide which ones to treat as broken.

Broken links send visitors and crawlers to dead ends and waste crawl budget. Finding and fixing them keeps both users and search engines moving through your site.

At least monthly for most sites, and weekly or on every publish for sites that change often. Schedule it and the API does the rest.

Yes. Run checks in the dashboard playground, use it from Zapier, Make or n8n, or let AI agents call it through our MCP server.
