NVIDIA’s RTX series influenced the graphics card industry big time, leaving gamers craving for life-like reflections and tiny details that could enhance the immersive experience of video games.

While the RTX technology is not always usable (considering the performance hits at the time of writing this), it makes things look good and shiny!

Of course, it comes down to your personal preferences as well. Not every gamer utilizes RTX, even if their graphics card supports it.

To make things better, Nvidia also introduced DLSS, which helps you retain the same quality (with an option to compromise on the quality) to boost the framerates of the game by a big margin.

The list of games with RTX and DLSS is constantly improving, with more additions every month. Here, I highlight the best games supporting Ray Tracing (RTX) and DLSS.

Here’s What You Need to Know Before Playing RTX and DLSS Games

Note that if a game supports Ray Tracing, you can make it work with Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. However, you should prefer Nvidia cards because it offers better performance.

And, when it comes to DLSS, it is exclusive to Nvidia graphics cards only, considering it as their proprietary tech. It is worth noting that DLSS is primarily useful for 2k (2560 x 1440)or higher resolutions.

So, as per your requirements, you need to ensure that you have a supported graphics card to run the games well at the resolution you need.

As the bare minimum, you should aim for an RTX 3060 or equivalent for 1080p gaming with RTX and DLSS.

RTX and DLSS Games to Try Right Now

Most RTX-enabled games support DLSS. And, some games support DLSS even without the support for Ray Tracing.

For the list, we focus on games that support both to help you utilize games offering the best technologies.

Hitman 3

Hitman 3 is one of the latest additions to add Ray Tracing support in 2022. Hitman is a third-person stealth game that puts you as the iconic Agent 47 and provides you with challenging missions to assassinate your targets.

Compared to some other games, the Ray Tracing implementation may not be the best, but it does make the game look beautiful.

Control is a must-play game for Ray Tracing. It was probably the first game to implement Ray Tracing in numerous objects, impacting the game’s visuals.

The game looks beautiful, and the action-packed scenes look better with RTX enabled.

Control is an action-adventure game with fiction at its core for the elements you encounter.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a beautiful game with popular Marvel characters that you love.

As of now, it is the best Marvel-theme game to play and explore. The characters resemble the same personality as your favorite heroes, and the gameplay is fun and engaging.

The Ray Tracing and DLSS implementation are impressive compared to some titles here. So, with DLSS + RTX enabled, you should get suitable frames.

Cyberpunk 2077

Without Cyberpunk 2077, there’s no showcase for RTX and DLSS for modern titles. The game packs in impressive visuals with Ray Tracing and DLSS.

While the performance for the game is not the best, you should check benchmarks before trying it out on your system with an RTX GPU.

Watch Dogs Legion

The latest sequel to the Watch Dogs franchise is a treat with RTX-enabled graphics. Considering it is a vast world featuring city life, it can be an exciting game to try.

Watch Dogs Legion gives you numerous exciting gadgets/tech to have fun with. You shouldn’t miss out on the DLCs offered if you miss Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs 1.

Everspace 2

Everspace 2 is a single-player spaceship shooter game with stunning visuals. When publishing this, Everspace 2 is available as an early access game.

You can either try the free demo or purchase the game at its current state to experience Ray Tracing and DLSS to boost performance.

Crysis Remastered

If you want to re-live the classic Crysis experience with RTX, Crysis Remastered is a great pick.

In case you didn’t know, Crysis was initially considered a game with graphics ahead of its time. So, it should be an exciting one to try.

I suggest you purchase this game during a sale; you can gear up for its upcoming sequel by playing the remastered edition.

DOOM Eternal

I’m sure you will agree that a list of AAA titles can’t go without a DOOM game. DOOM Eternal is a perfectly optimized first-person shooter game where you go battling against the demons.

You should not experience any significant performance hits with RTX on DOOM Eternal. And, with DLSS support, you can improve things further!

Dying Light 2

Are you looking to run through a zombie apocalypse using parkour? Well, Dying Light 2 is the perfect survival horror game for you.

The DLSS should help you perform better in the open-world environment, and the Ray Tracing adds a realistic touch to the world in-game.

The Fabled Woods

The Fabled Woods is an engaging, dark, and mysterious narrative short story. You will have to explore the world to uncover the secrets.

It supports both RTX and DLSS to enhance the immersive experience.

Raji: An Ancient Epic Enhanced Edition

Raji is a fascinating indie title developed by an Indian game studio featuring Indian mythology.

Raji was well-received globally as a unique video game with beautiful visuals, unlike some other attempts from other Indian game studios. To step up the notch, they also added the support for Ray Tracing with a new update to the game.

Ghostrunner is a fast-paced first-person action game set in a cyberpunk environment.

The level designs are perfectly suitable to give you great reflections using Ray Tracing. The game also supports DLSS 2.0 to enhance frames to get the best experience of the game.

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

Metro Exodus is one of the critic’s favorites for its graphics and action-packed offerings.

The game offered demanding visuals at its release and should be a no-brainer with its enhanced edition. It also supports RTX, and DLSS 2.0, unlike the original game, which supported DLSS 1.0.

Like the DOOM franchise, Minecraft will always make it to the list when we talk about visuals in a game.

While it is a classic game with no aim for life-like graphics, it still manages to surprise with the Ray Traced visuals and DLSS support.

Battlefield V

Battlefield V is probably one of the first multiplayer titles to support RTX. Of course, it may not be as epic as single-player experiences, but it does support both DLSS and RTX to enhance your campaign and multiplayer experience.

Battlefield 2042

While it may not be the best modern Battlefield game, with RTX on and DLSS, you can get a pleasant experience overall with Battlefield 2042.

Titles like this are usually Nvidia-backed. So, you should expect good RTX and DLSS support.

F1 2021 / 2022

F1 2021 is the official racing game of Formula 1 racing, developed by EA Sports. The last available release supports Ray Tracing graphics and DLSS.

And the next sequel for the series is due soon, which will also support RTX and DLSS. Considering it as an immediate release when writing this, I thought I should mention this.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind title with horror elements, Ghostwire: Tokyo can be an exciting pick.

It is filled with places where you get to see the most of Ray Tracing and enhance the experience with its DLSS support.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries

MechWarrior 5 lets you experience future war machines with an intense, action-packed environment.

The game supports Ray Tracing and DLSS 2.0. You also get co-op support to play with your friends (up to 4 players). Surprisingly, it also lets you get creative with mods from the community and have endless fun!

Fortnite needs no introduction, and it has been a favorite for gamers across all age groups. With updates, you can expect regular changes to the game.

With Ray Tracing and DLSS support, the visuals look pretty amazing. While the game is demanding as an open-world environment, you will have to benchmark your systems to see how well it handles RTX and how DLSS helps.

Ray Tracing and DLSS Tech is the Future of Gaming 🎮

While many considered it a marketing jargon when Nvidia introduced RTX and DLSS, it comes in handy to enhance your gaming experience.

The life-like reflections and shadows add a dash of realism to the game. And, DLSS helps you solve performance issues and get more framerates.

With games that support it, you can seamlessly experience the best possible experience with your graphics card.
