Notion Calendar Introduces a New Way to Share Availability

Notion Calendar

Notion Calendar has rolled out its new “Scheduling” feature, designed to simplify the process of sharing availability and booking meetings. It eliminates the need for third-party tools. The feature was announced on the official Notion Calendar X account. The company also attached a video showing the convenience and versatility of the new feature.

Key Features of Notion Calendar’s Scheduling

As mentioned, the new Scheduling feature allows you to manage your availability directly within Notion Calendar. However, that’s not all. The feature also introduces several improvements that are aimed at streamlining meeting management. It includes:

  • Link Manager: A tool to organize all scheduling links in one place.
  • Meeting Flows: Options for both one-off and recurring meetings.
  • Quick Availability Setup: A faster way to set and share available times.

Furthermore, the new Scheduling feature also supports phone numbers, physical locations, custom URLs, and other details to enable smoother coordination.

Though that’s not all, Notion has also joined the AI bandwagon by partnering with OpenAI. Recently, the popular connected workspace platform integrated OpenAI’s models to give its users some AI prowess. The integration enabled features like AI writing assistants, natural language question answering, and improved search functionality.

Interestingly, according to the OpenAI blog post, this collaboration has also improved performance, with a 50% reduction in latency for some features. Apart from that, the partnership has driven sustained revenue growth through increased product adoption.
