Photoshop, After Effects, ColdFusion, and More Get Critical Security Fixes

Adobe

Adobe has rolled out a series of security patches to fix multiple vulnerabilities across its software lineup, which includes popular software like Photoshop, After Effects, ColdFusion, and more. These patches claim to address multiple high-risk vulnerabilities that could allow attackers to access files or run harmful code on a user’s system.

In total, Adobe has fixed over 30 vulnerabilities across its products. A major portion of the fixes targets ColdFusion 2021, 2023, and the upcoming 2025 release. Out of those, 11 flaws were marked as critical. These included issues like improper access control, input validation problems, and unsafe data handling.

Critical ColdFusion Bugs Could Expose Files or Allow Remote Attacks

Some of the most serious issues include bugs that could allow attackers to read sensitive files from a user’s system. According to the company’s official release, CVE-2025-24446 and CVE-2025-30281 were related to this type of file access risk. Other flaws, like CVE-2025-24447 and CVE-2025-30282, could allow attackers to run their own programs on a user’s device, which is known as remote code execution.

However, the good news is that Adobe has released patches to fix these problems in ColdFusion. The updated versions are ColdFusion 2021 Update 19, ColdFusion 2023 Update 13, and ColdFusion 2025 Update 1.

Security Fixes for Adobe’s Creative Software Suite

Adobe has also rolled out security patches for some of its popular creative software suites. Tools like After Effects, Media Encoder, and Premiere Pro, bugs could allow attackers to run malicious code. Apart from that, software like Photoshop, Animate, and Bridge had vulnerabilities that could compromise a system.

Although the company did mention that there is no evidence of these vulnerabilities being actively exploited, users are still strongly advised to update their software immediately to protect against potential attacks.

What You Should Do?

If you are using any of the above-mentioned Adobe tools, it’s a good idea to check if you have received these security patches and update your software right away. Even if you don’t use ColdFusion, updates to apps like Photoshop and Premiere Pro are important.
