Slack Simplifies Pricing, Adds AI and CRM Features Across Plans

Salesforce has updated the pricing and subscription structure of Slack. Starting today, it now comes with AI tools, Agentforce access, and deeper CRM integration. The company wants to make Slack a more capable workplace hub for organizations of all sizes, with native AI features now embedded across all paid plans.

This is the first pricing change to Slack since 2022. Since then, Slack has positioned itself as a “work operating system” that connects enterprise apps, data, and AI agents. And the latest update reflects that shift by bundling AI-powered features into every tier, including summarization tools, huddle notes, and new integrations with Salesforce’s broader ecosystem.

What’s New in Slack Subscriptions? 

  • Pro Plan: Keeps its current price but gets summarization, huddle notes, Salesforce channel access, and security enhancements.
  • Business+ Plan: Sees a price increase to £12 (up from £9.75) per user per month. It now includes advanced AI features like workflow generation, recap tools, multilingual translation, improved search, and deeper Salesforce CRM functionality.
  • Enterprise+ Plan: A new tier that offers AI-powered enterprise search, expanded task management, premium Salesforce tools, and upgraded security, compliance, and admin controls.
  • Free Plan: Still free, but now includes access to Salesforce channels, giving every Salesforce customer basic Slack integration. 

Furthermore, AI agents from Salesforce’s Agentforce and third-party apps can now be deployed across all paid tiers. Business+ and Enterprise+ users will get access to AI-powered revenue forecasting, deal swarming, and real-time CRM triggers within Slack. 

However, it’s important to keep in mind that this is not the only AI update from the company. Recently, Salesforce unveiled its Summer ’25 release with updates that help businesses use AI agents more effectively across sales, customer service, and industry-specific workflows.
