ElevenLas, which is known for its text-to-voice tool, has announced a new 11ai, voice-first AI personal assistant, which is designed to streamline daily workflows with the help of natural conversation. Revealed via a series of tweets, the tool is positioned as an early experiment to demonstrate the potential of conversational AI.

11ai supports Multi-Channel Processing (MCP) and can handle a range of productivity tasks. According to the company, users can talk to 11ai to plan their day, add tasks directly to Notion, run research using Perplexity, and create issues in Linear, all through voice or text.

Out of the box, 11ai includes integrations with Perplexity, Linear, Slack, and other popular tools. It also allows you to connect MCP servers if needed. This flexibility makes it possible to adapt 11ai to a variety of workflows across different teams.

Furthermore, the assistant runs on ElevenLabs’ low-latency Conversational AI platform, which supports both voice and text, integrated retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and language detection.

To get started, you can sign up at 11.ai, choose from over 5,000 voices, upload your own connected third-party tools, and start issuing commands or planning tasks using voice. The company has noted that 11ai will be free to use for the coming weeks as part of its public trial.

However, this is not the only update from ElevenLabs. Recently, the company updated its platform to include new tools for managing agents, support for dynamic conversations, and enhancements to voice categorization and security for SIP trunking. These updates indicate that ElevenLabs is steadily building out its infrastructure to support more robust and customizable AI assistants.
