Windsurf Made Its Pricing Plans a Lot Simpler
Windsurf has revamped its pricing structure. The company has removed the flow action credit and introduced a new flat-rate system to a usage-based model. The new pricing structure applies to Pro, Teams, and Enterprise tiers. Here’s everything you need to know about Windsurf’s new pricing model:

Individuals
Windsurf now offers a single plan for individual users that costs $15 per month. This plan includes 500 prompt credits and eliminates “Flow Action” credits, meaning users are only charged for their initial prompts to Cascade. However, users can purchase additional prompt credits at a rate of 250 credits for $10. The best part about this add-on is that extra credits will carry over from month to month.
Moreover, existing Pro Ultimate users will receive a one-time bonus of 1200 prompt credits as part of the transition. To prevent interruptions, users can also set up automatic credit refills.
Teams
The new Teams plan is priced at $30 per user per month and includes 500 prompt credits per user. Similar to the individual plan, “Flow Action” credits have been removed. Add-on credits for teams are available at a rate of 1000 prompt credits for $40, and these can be pooled across the team.
However, it’s important to remember that the base credits are no longer pooled. Instead, Windsurf plans to introduce self-serve SSO integration and more access control features for a total base price of $40 per user per month in the near future. Current Teams and Teams Ultimate customers will get a complimentary batch of prompt credits per user during the transition.
Enterprise
Windsurf’s top-tier Enterprise plan features a single seat type at $60 per user per month, which gives 1000 prompt credits. Extra prompt credits can be purchased in a pooled package at $40 for 1000 credits.
Moreover, Windsurf will soon offer month-to-month pricing for the Enterprise tier as a self-service option. Existing Enterprise customers will be grandfathered into these new plans and will receive extra credits and seats if there are cost differences.
That’s not all. The company has also extended its free unlimited GPT-4.1 and o4-mini support by another seven days and is offering both models at a discounted rate of 0.25 credits for the following couple of months.
