Zoho CRM Unveils Canvas Upgrades: Mobile-Friendly Views & More

Zoho has rolled out new updates for Canvas, its no-code design studio for Zoho CRM. The latest updates bring mobile customization, a refreshed module view builder, and general enhancements aimed at improving user experience. Here’s everything you need to know about.
Mobile Customization for Zoho CRM

Canvas now supports customization for Zoho CRM’s mobile app on both iOS and Android for the first time. This allows businesses to create mobile-friendly views tailored for different teams, such as field sales agents and delivery personnel.
However, the best part is users are not required to design screens on their phones. Instead, they can customize mobile views on the Zoho CRM desktop studio, preview them on different devices, and deploy them instantly.
It’s important to keep in mind that this feature is limited to detailed pages. However, the company is planning to expand it to module pages in the coming time.
Updated Module Views with a New Builder
Canvas for Zoho CRM was initially launched in 2017 with support for module pages. Now, Zoho has replaced the legacy module page builder with an updated editor, offering more customization options and three new view styles:

- Custom List View: A traditional horizontal list that provides ample space for essential details.
- Tile View: Displays records in a card-like format, ideal for businesses dealing with images, such as real estate or manufacturing.
- Sheet View: A spreadsheet-style layout for managing records like invoices and inventory.
Other Updates and Pricing
Zoho has also introduced some new features like Canvas for Create Form, which allows users to customize record creation pages with styling options that apply to edit and clone pages. There are also new Export/Import Templates, which can now be transferred across accounts or organizations using a unique key and are valid for up to seven days.
Moreover, the company has also unveiled Canvas in Sandbox, which allows Businesses to test Canvas updates in Zoho CRM’s Sandbox before rolling them out across the organization. Apart from that, Canvas is available for free in all paid editions of Zoho CRM.
