Zoho Launches Zia Agents and Agent Studio for Custom AI Solutions
Zoho has launched its new set of AI tools under the umbrella of Zia, which is the company’s in-house AI platform. It includes new Zia Agents, Agent Studio, and Agent Marketplace. The new tools were announced on Zoho Day 2025 in Austin, and they aim to simplify business processes by allowing companies to access, build, and distribute digital agents tailored to specific tasks.
“The speed of disruption and quality of innovation we’re seeing in our industry right now has encouraged me to focus on my passion area, technology. I will devote more time to hands-on technical work for the company, spearheading several deep R&D initiatives, beginning with AI,” said Sridhar Vembu, Zoho Corporation’s Co-founder and Chief Scientist. “Utilizing Zoho’s deep engineering expertise, its own data centers, and shared data model, we will develop powerful and usable solutions that drive customer value while retaining our commitment to customer flexibility and data privacy.”
Zoho’s New AI Tools
Here’s everything you need to know about the new Zia Agents, Zia Agent Studio, and Agent Marketplace:
- Zia Agents: Zoho is working on several pre-built Zia Agents, some of which were announced during the launch. For example, the company showed its Account Manager Agent, SDR Agent, HR Agent, Customer Support Agent, IT Help Desk Agent, and SalesCoach Agent. These Agents will be rolled out in the coming months.
- Zia Agent Studio: Along with the pre-built AI Agents, the company will also allow the creation of custom AI Agents with its no-code and low-code Zia Agent Studio. It will give access to a wide range of pre-existing Zia Skills, tools from across the Zoho ecosystem, data from a unified data platform, and a range of language models. These custom-built AI Agents will function as SDR or email support agents or natively cross-functional agents like an RFP or loan approval agent. As of now, these AI Agents will only be deployed on Zoho applications and summoned using Ask Zia. However, in the future, these agents will also be deployable in any third-party application.
- Agent Marketplace: The agents created with Zia Agent Studio will also be able to be published on the new Agent Marketplace. Where Zoho will provide a pre-built roster of agents, while the company’s ecosystem of partners and developers can build and distribute specialized AI agents through the marketplace, which can be reused and instantly deployed by organizations.
A Little History About Zia
Zoho launched its in-house AI platform called Zia way back in 2015. Just two years after its launch, the company introduced “Ask Zia,” which is a conversational assistant. It aims to make daily tasks more manageable as it can summarize customer interactions and analyze industry trends. It can also be integrated with all the Zoho applications. Previously, Zia could only handle basic tasks, but now it has evolved to manage generative and agentic AI workflows.
Availability
The rollout of these new AI tools will start with a limited group of customers, with availability expanding each month.
