Questions

Before you copy it.

Yes. The sheet calls the Geekflare SERP API with your key, and every check uses your credits. A free account includes 500 credits a month, about 250 checks, with no card required.

In the sheet's script settings for your Google account only, set through Rank Tracker → Set API key. It's never written to a cell, and it isn't included when someone copies the sheet.

Yes. Add a city from the supported cities list, written exactly as listed, and set Device to mobile or desktop. Each row is checked separately.

Open Rank Tracker → Run daily at 6 AM. Google runs it from your account every morning and adds a row per keyword to the Rankings tab. Stop daily runs turns it off.

The tracker reads Google's first results page. If your domain isn't on it for that keyword, location and device, it's logged as not in the top 10.
