Method 1

The first method to enable the Trust browser involves using a web browser installed on the device.

#1. Open a Web Browser.

#2. Copy and Paste Enable URL

Copy and paste “trust://browser_enable” on your browser’s URL field. Then hit “go.”

A pop-up message asking for permission to open the Trust Wallet App appears.

The pop-up message displays two options to choose from, “Cancel” and “Open.” Select “Open.”

#3. Choose the Required DApp

Once “Open” is selected, you will get directed to your Trust Wallet web page. In addition, this step enables the DApp browser on your device.

Method 2

Are you facing any issues with the first method? Never mind. Let’s go through another method you can try to enable the Trust Wallet browser on your iOS device.

#1. The second method is executed with the help of PancakeSwap. So first, you need to visit the official PancakeSwap website using Safari or Google Chrome browser.

#2. After visiting the PancakeSwap website, select “Connect” on the top right corner of the browser.

Once “Connect” is selected, a pop-up with a list of various crypto wallets appears on the screen. TrustWallet is one of the wallets that appears, but you need to choose “WalletConnect” instead. If you first click on “TrustWallet,” a provider error appears.

#3. Selecting “WalletConnect” results in another pop-up window with a list of another set of crypto wallets.

To connect to Trust Wallet, select “Trust” with the official Trust Wallet logo. Select “Open” on the next pop-up message.

#4. After selecting “Open,” the user’s Trust Wallet opens.

Next, select the “Connect” button to connect your Trust Wallet with the PancakeSwap platform.

Finally, after completing all these steps, your Trust Wallet gets connected with PancakeSwap. Then, you can exchange tokens using the PancakeSwap platform to your connected wallet.

Why Did Trust Wallet Remove DApp Browser from iOS Devices?

The Trust Wallet removed the DApp Browser from iOS App following the App Store guidelines. The DApp browser was completely removed from iOS devices in June 2021.

The removal of the DApps doesn’t affect the crypto funds, NFTs, and other deposited assets. In addition, iOS users can use all other features provided by the Trust Wallet using the iOS App.

The removal is only limited to iOS users, while Android users are not affected by the removal procedure. Unfortunately, iOS users must go through the slightly complex steps mentioned above to connect with DApps.
